I will have six paintings as well as prints and cards in the Drawn to the Cotehele exhibition.  The Red deer on the poster is one of them. The exhibition features art that represents a year in the life of the Tamar Valley. As well as recently spending 9 very successful days at Cotehele as part of Open Studios, I have work in the National Trust's Bull Pen Gallery which is in the courtyard at Cotehele.

			Amazing! I am thrilled that my pastel portrait of a Gorilla has received a Gold Award in the Camelback Gallery international juried art competition and exhibition 'Amazing Animals 2023'.  Please click here to take you to the virtual exhibition, and whilst you're there it would be great if you could give my Gorilla a love. The painting is titled 'Don't mess with my habitat', and I'm donating the exhibition prize money to Explorers Against Extinction to help them in their valuable work.

I love capturing the character of wildlife and other nature subjects and I find that pastels is the ideal medium for my work.  I live on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, but although UK based I like to portray wildlife from many parts of the world which gives scope for some exciting colours and unusual characteristics.

Whilst original artwork for some of the images may be available, through the production of high quality prints I can make my artwork available to many more people, at affordable prices.  My cards are sold in aid of Explorers Against Extinction, a charity which benefits wildlife welfare and nature conservation.   I will be including paintings of many species from the Red List of animals that are critically endangered.

I am a member of SAA, Drawn to the Valley, the Tavistock Group of Artists and the Association of Animal Artists.
